Interesting facts about me

Some of this might be interesting....

My husband, Deke, and I have been married for 6 years this December. He is my daughter's stepfather. He has 3 grown children; one of which has produced grandchildren! They live close by, and I am called "Aggie", short for Grandma Aggie.

My sisters tagged me "Aunt Aggie" when I was in 7th grade (1982) They said it was because they were sure that their babies would never be able to say Aunt Angela. I hated it so much! Now I love it.

I have been able to do a little traveling because of my husband's work; Japan, Hawaii, Canada, and all over the U.S. Ireland is on for June 2009.

I have been a teacher for 17 years. I love kids, but hate the red tape. I am not sure if I will make it to retirement.

Stickler Syndrome runs in our family. My daughter and I have been diagnosed with this. My father was never diagnosed, but we KNOW he had it!

Well, it's been a long week. Thursday was pdoc appt. It went well and trip home was really good. I felt like I had my dd back. Good night, then a good morning today. She went to school for the first time in 10 days! Yeah! I got home at 5:00 and she was growly because she couldn't use the computer. I had an admin. passcode put on it. I am home from school, yet another day. I don't know how long my job can suffer this. Emotionally, I'm a wreck.

Marissa had an episode last night. I don't know what else to call it. She was fine until about 8:00 when I told her "no" to her request of using the computer to play her ipod in the bathroom while she took a bath.

I think I will use my blog as a diary. I decided I better keep one to track Marissa's symptoms.

Today was such a beautiful day. She assists her dance teacher on Sundays and Mondays with the younger kids. She was so excited to go. She pulled her hair back into a pony tail. I haven't seen her face for so long! She got dressed and ate her lunch. All very happy.
